As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Text Messages that Made Me Smile

Text messages between Snickers and I.  I had told him that I caught another mouse, hopefully the last one, and he went on and on how he hated mice.  He then told me to kill it, I told him I did, and then he most randomly threw me an English sentence.  Probably one of only a handful of English written sentences he has ever sent me in the 6 years we've been together...hahaha.  He used this particular sentence when he proposed to me actually.
A text message I recieved early this morning/late last night.  It was from one of my Hulkies in response to a Facebook status update I had written in Korea, saying that I feel always alone and that I miss Canada so much.
