As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Wow from Start to Finish

A few times a week we have a Hulkie that asks either Snickers or I for some extra training wear because they forgot theirs or came straight from school/work.  Today it was Wow and his buddy who asked for extra clothes so we thought it'd be funny to give them limited options, options that no matter what they picked we'd be amused by.  Wow thought it was so funny to make his buddy wear the pink tank top but little did he know the joke was on him.  Here he is wearing a Wonder Woman top.
I snapped this picture at exactly 6:40pm.
There were 19 Hulkies training and only us 2 coaches training them all.
We've been teaching one of our young amateur boxers how to do padwork.  He has many friends now training here and tonight he helped us out by doing padwork with all of them.
I spy with my little eye, the hiring of another mini Hulkie!!!
This is what it means to do one of my crossfit classes at level 2.
These two gals rocked my class and then decided to practically die on the floor in pain afterward.
...they'll be back for more because they're tough like that!!!
Late in the evening, Snickers, myself and a few of our Hulkies slipped away from the club, leaving one of our other Hulk's to watch over it while we went and said our goodbyes to Wow.  Originally he was supposed to return to Hulk's in the evening to say goodbye but I think it worked out better the way it did.  Honestly, I would have been a mess if it weren't for the fact that I had to get back to work and he was surrounded with his friends at his restaurant.  I handed him my letter and then five minutes later I had to leave.
I miss him already.
