As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Dreaming Big and Punching Wild

Snickers have big dreams and while I'm always the one looking to improve what we've already made together, Snickers is always looking at what's next.  Today this gorgeous patio set caught our eye.
Snickers wants it to go on the rooftop in our Phase 2 but he didn't say "want", he said it "will".
Sometimes I think Snickers dreams too big but I think that's also what makes me so attracted to him.
Me on the other hand, I want this hanging chair. Awhile back Snickers had promised me he'd buy me a similar one if I got my Flipside Fitness membership to a certain number.  I got that number but never got the chair though because we then started planning for Hulk's.
Speaking of chairs... that dang ugly couch is back!!!  It, along with the Body Guard owner's SUV are both on our side of the road.
The temptation to put the couch on the SUV is most definitely strong and today it reached a "most strong" level.  I moved the couch today, again, and no sooner did I move it but than a 45+ year old man was all in my face.  He threatened to hit me if I didn't move it.
The couch belongs to both the Mean Girls on the street -- owner of the Body Guard and the ugly mannaquin store.  Tonight Snickers went over there to tell them off about their couch, again.
Notice here how he ended up moving that dang ugly coach... again.
And notice that the key word in this whole situation has been "again"
Tried out a new casserole today.  Unlike yesterday's "burn-a-hole-in-your-big-girl-panties" casserole, tonight's casserole was definitely a creamy smooth one that had that kind of comfort food feel to it.
This is how I spent my late evening, enjoying a cappucino and casserole with a friend while we watched two of my friends beat upon each other in the ring.
Yup, that's what I let my friends do.  Nothing says we're friends quite like going round a few rounds on each other in the ring and who am I to refuse their request to do so... hahaha.
Tonight's "friendly match" was 5Star vs Mouse Doctor.
Yes sir, that's how we roll here.  Korea may be rather stiff with it's outdated gender roles but my friends know me better to expect me to fit them.  Made the guys do the laundry today while I took out the trash.
