As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Mid Week but Full Work

After my interview, I snapped a picture with some of the KBS crew.

And after an hour and a half of sharing not only my club but also my story, my life here in Korea, we were on quite the comfortable terms.
Here I am giggling about just getting hugged in between shots.
Picked up my marathon uniform from the printers today.
I'll be running in the leggings but the vest is pre/post run wear.
As for what to wear for my top, I'm indecisive about three tops.
Top A is comfortable but needs trimming and is a bit used and abused looking.
Top B is our club tank top but I got it altered a while back and now the sleeves are too small for my "bulging arms"...hahaha.
Top C is the one I received the other day.  It's got a built-in bra that has passed my HIIT treadmill test and it's got sex appeal but it's kind of showy for the public (lots of skin).
Today work started for me at 9am with cleaning the club and working on Phase 2, and it continued full force well into the evening with multitude crossfit classes.
Today we trained core and I introduced our Hulkies to the "wonderful" world of table tops, an ab exercise that is so good it's bad, so bad it's good... an ab exercise that definitely lets you know just how hard your abs are working, right there and then!!!
