As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Beauty Friday

This is me, exactly 23 minutes after waking up.
I would have been in this chair earlier but it took me about 15 minutes just to drive here.
And before I drove to my friend's hair shop I snapped some pictures -- the BEFORE shots.
And then the AFTER pictures -- hair cut, head shaved, scratches done, and hair coloured.
...lovin' the new look!

After revising my image, it was time for me to sit down with KBS for an interview.

They asked all sorts of questions, both the expected and general questions and then the unexpected and personal.
Apparently my new look scored mad points and gave me the freedom to change the looks of some of our Hulkies.  Tonight we joked around and played "Coach Amy's Beauty Shop" where I was asked to redo the eyebrows of one particular Hulkie.
I cut, shaped, tweeked and even coloured in some pretty sweet looking brows.
She was so impressed by my beauty works that talk of her chopping off all her hair started up.
