As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

One of us Bere's are Pregnant!!!... Friday, May 8

BIG NEWS -- Pyen Chi is pregnant!!!

I had posted this on Facebook today and instantly my Facebook comment was flooded with responses and my phone started buzzing non stop.  For the most part, friends knew me well enough to assume I wasn't talking about me being pregnant because for starters I don't want to be pregnant and secondly, if I were to become pregnant, I probably would keep that a secret.  Most got it right away, one of my dogs must be pregnant and, considering I only have one female pup, it must be Pyen Chi.

"Friends with benefits" quickly became the English phrase of the day here at Hulk's with almost all our Hulkies quickly picking it up when we broke the news about Pyen Chi being pregnant.

Pacquaio and Pyen Chi are friends with benefits.

For the record, let it be known that I've never considered Pyen Chi, Balboa and Pacquiao to be my babies or my kids, instead we are all friends.  We're family in the sense that we have more or less adopted each other and live together but I'm by no means their mom.

I am no one's mom, though sometimes I feel like a Canadian mom to Snickers... hahaha.

We've tried on two separate occasions to breed Pyen Chi but she just wouldn't have it and by "just wouldn't have it" I mean she attacked a dog 40kgs bigger than her and then jumped out of a cage that had a weighted down roof on it.  She's made it very clear, she wants nothing to do with any kind of hanky-panky... or so we thought.

Pyen Chi and Pacquiao are good together and by good I mean they tolerate each other though Pyen Chi often snaps at him because of him being so hyper and always wanting to play rough with her.  The two of them fight for control among the three of them.  Pyen Chi, being the older and bigger dog has always had control over the other two but then, once Pacquiao grew up and grew in strength, he then started to challenge her position at the top of the hierarchy.  It was only just recently that this started to happen and so getting Pac neutered was never really a topic of discussion because after Pyen Chi protecting her innocence via taking on and taking down a 90kg male and then busting out of a cage to escape an 80kg male, it was clear she wanted nothing to do with the boys.  She doesn't even like it when I joke around and grab her backside, that instantly makes her play rough with me.

Apparently Pacquiao is now the top dog, the soon-to-be-father, and Pyen Chi is the mother-to-be.

No more Miss Independent, "I'll-have-nothing-to-do-with-them-boys" Pyen Chi and no more free-to-be-a-man Pacquiao.  She'll be having babies and he'll be getting snipped.  Now to hope that neither Snickers or I fall in love with any of these mini four-legged friends, or as I now refer to them as, the Pac-Chi babies.
