Still catching up on those damn books Snickers so.... never mind, no comment.
It was a Free Train Friday but being that it was the first Free Train Friday since my return I spent it trying to catch up on the books and filing. Word of me being back at the club has reached the ears of those who enquired about me while I was gone and so today I had new members join and ask to specifically train with me. They joined today, started today, and wanted to dive right into training with me.
I took the day off my own training; I was drowning in computer work.
Taking three weeks of filing work and all that other "fun" work definitely kicked my butt and today I exhausted myself trying to make sense of it all and clean it up. Throw in the fact that I haven't really spoken Korean for three weeks and thus haven't picked up any new words or grammar points and ya, definitely got my butt kicked today. Oh, and I still don't have a voice so today was just so much fun.
Pyen Chi drove me bonkers with her barking today and upon complaining to a member about her they let it known to me that when I was away Snickers let Pyen Chi hang out at the front of the club. Great, so me coming back means she's frustrated and annoyed because she's back in the doggie room where she should have been the entire time.
My well-behaved Pyen Chi is now princess... gonna change that!!!
Super fun.
Caught a way of drama outside of the book mess I was scrambling around to clean up with one of my former amateur fighters visited me today. He wants to return to boxing and he brought along a female friend... a girlfriend actually. He and his previous girlfriend were once the "Hulk's Boxing couple" -- two high school students who met and fell in love right here under our roof. It was an adorable fairy tale while it lasted but then they broke up. She publicly proclaimed that she hated him and he quit the club. Earlier this week I found out she has since started to date his best friend, one of my other amateur fighters who still trains here. Starting next week both boys -- the exboyfriend and the current boyfriend, best friends -- will be training again under my supervision. It should be interesting. Snickers joked and said we should make them sparring partners but I think that's just mean. No need to fight over a girl, boys.
