As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Spotted and Back to Work

We've been spotted...
Ya, I don't actually wear sunglasses inside, I'm not cool like that, but I wore them because Snickers felt uncomfortable showing his shinner so he wore his.  This was my attempt at trying to be sweet.
I say sport that shinner; wear it with pride.
It's way cooler than wearing sunglasses inside.
I may not have been able to take any of my fabulous Tundra Bunny friends back home with me but I definitely can proudly put up the loud flag one of them gave me.
God, I love Canadians!!!
Kicked off being back at work with treating everyone to freshly cook corn on the cob.
Got a special visit from someone very special to me, former Korean welter weight champ and one of my former teammates, Panty Boy Jr.
He's returned to training at Hulk's and today he kicked it off with taking on and taking down one of our amateur boxers in a mean sparring session.
Ended the work night with more work -- a late night business dinner.
It was then that I told my main sponsor my desire to box in Canada.  He wasn't impressed and he urged me to reconsider or at least give it more thought.
