As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Beating Up My Body Some More than Ice Cream Time

Quick promo shout-out for PB BoxFit... $40 for one month of unlimited classes.
Come join me at the club, 661 Yonge Street.  We're right at Bloor and Yonge.
Added some nice PB BoxFit handwraps to my boxing gear... nice.
I had weight training in the morning, boxing in the late afternoon and
then I stuck around for the Mauy Thai class in the evening.
I had been told by the Mauy Thai coach that I had to attend the class but I negotiated a deal.  I'd attend the class but solely to pose as the partner for one of my coworkers, an ultra sweet gal I'll refer to as Kick-Kat.  She's looking to get a fight soon so tonight I drilled her and she really upped her game with training.  Oh man can that lady kick!
With it being Wednesday, you know what day it is -- Ice Cream Wednesday!!!
I had my ice cream and my ice cream date... you know who that cutie is.
It's none other than my boy J.  I seriously love this guy.  I've known him for at least 13 years now and he went from just being a fun guy I used to hang out at the clubs with to one of my closest friends here in the TDot.
Took my ice cream and my boy J and headed to "The Rock" -- a massive mound of rocks located in the posh Yorkville downtown area.
The Rock is a hot spot for many and it poses as a perfect place for people watching.
