As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Should Have, Could Have, Would Have, but Didn't... Sunday, August 16

Disappointment of the week, showing up at CanFit Pro downtown Toronto only to be greeted by random scattered tables of sellers selling fitness equipment I don't need, DVDs I am not interested in, and t-shirts that aren't anything special, and an overpriced smoothie stand.

The much-anticipated fitness event of the year was over.  The event halls had all cleared out.  Correction, all but one event hall had cleared out. There was a guest speaker speaking in one and then she broke out into a song.

I had missed this year's CanFit Pro extravaganza...dang it Skippy!!!

I did the mistake of giving myself the day off, letting myself lounge around till I had to attend the boxing club's party, and I really shouldn't have.  I'm so not impressed with myself right now.
