As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Mornings are Always Full Speed

I coach the first Boxfit class of the day.   It's at 7am so I try to be at the club downtown by 6:30am.  This means I leave my house around 5:45am and wake up at 5:30am.
It'd be rough waking up that early if it weren't for the fact that I never fail to have fabulous people coming out for my class.  These are two of the ladies I train.  They're both equally awesome and they give me such positive energy.

Don't kid yourself though, after I finish coaching my morning class and then get in my boxing, I come home and crash.  Have to recharge my battery for early evening weight training.
