As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Catching some Contagious Awesome Energy

Doing ring work with this fierce cutie is always super fun but I'm itching to see her take on someone for sparring.  She's really improving.
Boxing at the club was followed by more boxing but at Systems, my weight training gym.  No sooner did I arrive but then our little fan group entered.
These guys always join us when us fighters train.  Sometimes they jump in and wrestle each other but for the most part they stay on the spinning bikes.
Late for training.  Punches as punishment.
Okay, so I don't really hit him hard but he was late.
He milks the cute card to get out of it.
Tried to get one of my buddies to do some of my ab work.
I should note the picture before this one, right after he did my exercise, he stuck up his middle fingers to me and I caught it on camera.
The track at System.  This pic doesn't do it justice though.  It goes up around the corners, like a Molson Indy track.  Back in the day I used to use it for sprint work/HIIT.
