As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Ending the Week on a High Note

Fridays are Sparring Days so today we geared up for sparring.
Cabbagetown Boxing vs. Paul Brown Boxfit
Sparring with this lady, this boxer, is awesome.  She's as awesome in the ring as a boxer as she is outside of it as a person.  Here's up rocking some gym nasty post sparring hair.  We look like we're from some kind of 80's punk band.... nice.
Sparring was then followed by a much deserved breakfast out at Eggspectation.
It's was a first time visit for me and it was eggscellent... hahaha.
The interior alone was gorgeous so the hype of a delish to follow was high.
This is what Coach Brown got.  Check out all that fabulous avocado!!!
And mine, viola.  I went for an omelet that had an overdose of veggies.
Sparring, breakfast, and then shopping together.
With winter just around the corner I'm having to prepare.  I haven't had a Canadian winter in over a decade so today Coach Brown helped me pick out a coat at the mall.
