As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Everyone Has a Fight but Me... Wednesday, November 11

Am super excited about this upcoming fight.
My teammate at the boxing club here in Toronto also has a fight on Saturday and Bloor Street Boxing Club is also hosting an amateur tournament so this Saturday is definitely going to be a big fight night!
Hershey Centre fights... sweet!

Would be nice if adding my name to the list of fighters in ANY of these fights was what I was writing about or even if it were news of my opponent for my December 5th fight but I'm not.  We've looked here in Canada for any active female fighter within 6 fight classes, ranging from 102lbs to 118lbs, and there are only 10 female fighters.  Looks like heading south of the border is really my only choice at this point.  Bring it on.  Let's go to Mexico!

Today I accepted the fact that I won't be having a fight on December 5th despite those at my club not wanting to admit it.  It was hard to digest, hence why I turned off my phone, skipped training and ditched ALL plans till about 5pm when I showed up at System.  I was definitely distracted during training but it was either get in a half a$$ work out or go crazy in my apartment with pure frustration.
