As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Press Conference for Creed... Monday, November 9

As I coached my boxfit intro class this morning, the crew and all their gear for the Creed movie press conference came rolling in.
The crew and their gear ended up taking over the entire club.
Coach Brown got to help out with testing out the set and lighting.
...and then the two main actors came in.  Hello Jordan.
Next, the make-up crew took over and then the TV reporters filed in one after another with their questions in hand.  For the most part the questions were pretty repetitive but it was interesting to hear their answers and see how the reporters and crew responded to each other.
They were on such a tight schedule so they only posed for one picture with Coach Brown.  I had to settle for Jordan putting his hand on my back and wishing me a good day as he rushed out for his next engagement.
I'm not into celebrities though so no pic was really no big deal.  I've got my own celebrities in my life, like this lady -- Kick-Kat.  She's one of our muay thai fighters here that often joins my boxfit classes.

This is probably going to sound offensive, but I've been wondering ... Are you trying to look "manly"? I'm sorry but the haircut looks SO bad on you. Wouldn't it be much cooler to be a tough woman, all pure muscle, but actually have a softer look?
