As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

21 Days... Monday, February 22

So my roommate says I've inspired her to clean up her eating, that's cool.  She joked about how whenever she sees me I am either coming or going to training, eating or passed out on the bed from training (and possibly eating too... hahaha).  Having said this, she's been on this 21 change-of-habits kick and she started it a few weeks ago.  She decided to kick meat to the curb and noted that it really made her become more creative with her meals as well as it also meant she filled up more on veggies.

I decided to join her on her most recent 21 change-of-habit kick.

For the next 21 days,
I will not eat any redefined carbs.
I will not eat any dairy.
I will limit myself to redefined and dairy only once a week (my cheat meal).
Bread is my kryptonite, seriously.  Walking down the bread isle at the local grocery store is like sensory overload because I love bread and I had been deprived such an awesome selection being in Korea.  Here, there's nan, pita, whole wheat, rye, kiasers, rolls, bread sticks, tortillas, mutli grain.... h-e-a-v-e-n for the bread addict!!!  And who can resist crackers and those flavoured rice cakes that you can never just eat one of?!  Exactly.

I eat pretty clean as it is but must note that I do love my bread, I treat myself to cream but only in my morning coffee, and the guys at Sunset Grill love to pile on the cheese on my Greek salad... God bless their soul but God help my waistline if this continues.
