As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Back to the Swing of Things

It was good to see Coach Brown back at the club where he belongs.
On Saturday he had a health scare -- possible heart attack -- while training a PT client.
He got rushed to the hospital, had testing done, but is now good to go... with caution.
I don't know whether to cry or laugh, be ashamed or be amused.
I totally cleaned that jar of natural peanut butter dry but I'm not going to admit here to how I did it.  I'm not going to tell you how I ditched the chopstick and stuck my finger in it.  And I'm definitely not going to tell you how my finger went to me using my whole entire hand and how I walked to the boxing club with it still on my sleeve... and how I contemplated even licking my sleeve.  No, I'm not going to tell you that.
Ahhhh validation from my Fitbit, nice.  Thanks.
Went for a pre-training caffeine fix today before hitting the weights.
"I'm only getting a small coffee", I told Ginger Spice.
Got a double espresso.  Small was right but the potent kick was.... woozers... very big.
Me after two sips of my double espresso.  It gets me doing silly things and convincing Ginger Spice to join in on the immaturity and silliness of my caffeine high.
