As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Baked Goods to Support the Shelter

Bake sale goodies at the Toronto Humane Society.
There were super delish goodies for both two-legged and four-legged friends.
I was almost tempted to try the animal treats... they looked so pretty!
I had told myself NOT to walk down the rows of dog cages, I know I couldn't resist the doggies, but I also couldn't resist not taking that walk.
Puppies!!!
And who should be socializing the young pups but my girl Ginger Spice.
Just look at her, she's glowing.  She is totally in her element here!
And these little ones totally were loving her being there with them.
The puppies were super adorable but it was this particular one that stole my heart.
Honestly, if they were to have told me I could walk out there and then
with her, I totally would have!
