As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Some Comfort Food on a Cold Monday Night

Despite having been in Canada now for a bit over half a year, I still find myself rediscovering things that I totally forgot about, like this -- Chef Boyardee, beef ravioli!!!
I'm not for canned food but who doesn't love the Chef?!  Exactly.
The can reads that it holds two servings.  I cooked up the full can, thinking I'd share some with my roommate but who was I kidding.  I'm pretty bad at sharing my food.
It was a carb overdose -- 2 servings of pasta with a slice of bread to soak up all that yummy-in-my-tummy delish sauce.  It was whole wheat bread but that hardly helped with the carb overdose.
And I'll admit it, I may or may not have used my finger to get the rest of the bits and pieces and sauce... I may or may not have licked the bowl too.
