As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Sundays are for Leg Training, Coffee, Giggles, Skateboarding, and Pancakes

I woke up way too late for church but just in time for training.  I lacked the energy to train though so I met up with Ginger Spice for some giggles, hugs and caffeine.
And while I was waiting for the caffeine to hit me, I got to puppy watch from my window seat at Starbucks.  Today's beautiful weather meant everyone and their dog was out on the street.  I miss my doggies!!!
Check out the 2 four-legged ones here on the right -- an adorable Boston terrier and a sharp looking beautiful doberman pinscher.  Awesome dogs!!!
In the early evening I headed down to the lake for some long boarding.
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!
I haven't been on a skateboard for a long time.  I have one back at Hulk's in Korea but it was for the mini Hulkies.  Today I got on a skateboard thanks to some super encouragement from the best skateboarding coach ever.
It felt so great to get out of the house and walk around the lake.
The lake has always been one of my favourite places to be.
Driving home I looked up at the sky and just felt so happy to be right there, right then, so I snapped a picture of that moment.
Ended this Sunday with continuing our newest tradition -- pancakes for dinner on the weekend!!!  I love, love, LOVE pancakes.  If I had it my way my Ice Cream Wednesday would be either Pancake Wednesday or Bread Wednesday, but I doubt many friends would be down with feasting on pancakes or bread.  I haven't had an Ice Cream Wednesday for a few weeks now that I think of it.
