As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Winter Wonderland with Lots of Coffee

This is what I woke up to, an early sunrise.
After morning boxing today I headed over to Sunset Grill with Coach Brown for breakfast and got to see my buddy Tim.  He was the main event fighter for this past weekend's fight card at the Hershey Centre.
This was what I was greeted to when I returned home -- 3 fire trucks and a couple of handfuls of firemen walking around.  Didn't see a fire, just a lot of fire men.
(No complaints here... just saying.)
Starbucks across from System is where apparently everyone from System goes for their pre-workout, aka caffeine fix.  Counted 7 of us from Systems there at once.
Even this long-time-no-see Systems girl was there.... it's the Polish Princess!!!
She has moved out of the Bloor West Village, got an apartment with her boyfriend, and is never around the area.  Boo to that but yah to her coming to see me today.
After fueling up on coffee -- the fuel of champions -- I headed to System for training.
Got in a solid 12 rounds on the heavy bag and then worked chest, triceps and shoulders.
Scored a most random gift today from a most random person who has never really spoken to me beyond the occasional hello and goodbye.
And then I walked out to this... more snow!!!
I personally love the snow.
It definitely makes me feel like I'm really here, living in Canada.
