As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Pies and Guys

Look at the trouble I've stepped into... one of my friends has his own pie shop!!!
And it addition to it being super tempting on my clean eating regime, it's loaded with all the geekiness a girl could hope for.  "Periodic pies"... get it?!... Love it!!!
And if the fact that his shop is super close to my home wasn't trouble enough, this Monday is Pie Day so I can visit again on Monday for another free pie.
[Enter me thinking this may very well be the death of my clean eating this week.]
Posed for a picture and then slapped this pic on Facebook for some advertising for them.  Seriously though, if you're in the Sherborne and Bloor area or even remotely close to it, drop on bye for a pie.  Tell them Amy sent you!!!
After some smoozing with the super sweet pie guys, I was treated out to lunch.
My favourite go-to meal is a good old veggie omelette.
Trying to get my buddy to simply smile for the camera, not so easy... hahaha.
He's such a sweetie but what a joker when it comes to snapping his pic.
