As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Day of Reflection

I didn't have an escort today at the house so there I was told to stay in and not venture outside.  It was all too tempting though.
I've built up quite the fan base here in Mexico so I spent a good chunk of my day trying to study Spanish online so that I could respond to the massive pour in of emails.
Thank you to all my new fans who cheered "Go Blondie" and wrote to me.
It was totally unexpected but I really appreciated it.
Mama Rambo fed me some Mexican food and told me all about it.
It was super delish but no sooner did it reach my belly but then I was sick.
Still trying to shake this food poisoning from Saturday.
With having to stay in the house all day, I did a lot of reflecting.
Then came the fear of not knowing what to say to Coach Perez when I return to Canada.
I feel like I let him down.
Late in the evening I was able to venture outside.  Correction, I insisted he let me roam the streets for ice cream.  I needed a pick-me-upper.
He bought me ice cream.  How sweet is he?! Soooooo very!
Ice cream in the ghettos of Mexico City on a Monday night, I love it!
