As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Finally Fight Night... Saturday, June 4

I wrote this as my Facebook status update for not only my personal page but also my Facebook fan page and for my Instagram, so I´ll simply copy and paste it here because I don´t know what else to say.  I have too much to say right now actually, so I´ll just say this...

We all knew it was going to be tough for me to fight in Mexico with such a short period of adjustment and no coach by my side, but I took the fight because I love boxing.  I fight whomever is placed in front of me. In this case, my opponent was changed two days before the fight and I lost to her. She was a heavy hitter and I'll give her props for that.  Special thanks to LC Promotions and of course to my amazing coach, Coach Mario.  Much love to Mexico, it's an amazing place with fabulous people, and I'm grateful for this opportunity but I'll be back.
