As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Food for the Body and Food for Thought

Headed downtown to one of my hotspots for breakfast.  Eggspectations, love this place!!!
The before pic and the after pic
-- cute and smiley before my run and then fierce and determined after I killed my run.
In Korea, running was my means of disconnecting from the stresses of not fitting in.  In Canada I don't need that disconnection but I still run.  It's when I do my best thinking.

My thought here was about all those who have called me crazy.
They called me crazy when I moved to Korea but then I made the country's biggest boxing club.  They called me crazy when I moved back to Canada.  I left so much in Korea but I've gained so much here in Canada that they could never ever begin to understand but wait for me, I'll give them something to really call me crazy about.

Never wanted to be normal anyways.  Becoming average would be my biggest let down, not reaching or at least flexing my potential would be my biggest fear.
