As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

From Canada to Mexico

The last familiar face I'll see for the next several days was that of my coach, Coach Perez.
After we parted ways, I was then left to venture alone through the airport and off to Mexico.
Catching sight of some key places in the 6ix, like the CN Tower and Skydome was pretty awesome.
The plane was relatively empty so with no one sitting beside me I kicked
up my feet and dove into my new sports psychology book.
Arrived in Mexico, got in trouble for using my phone but it was worth it.  Was trying to search out this pretty lady.  She´s friends with my coach and I´ll be staying at her house while in Mexico.
No sooner did I arrive in Mexico but it was off to meet the promotor and discuss things
like my boxing license, health checks, and whatnot.
And then I got to settle into my new ´home´here in Mexico where I was greeted
by this gorgeous girl -- Coach Perez´s beautiful pitbull, Bridget.
I´m still monitoring my weight for this fight but today at the promotor´s office I weighed in 2lbs lighter than I need to be so I treated myself to some super delish, mouth-watering fruit.
...and taste tested way too many freshly squeezed, equally delish fruit juices.
The guy working the shop was so sweet and ended up giving me a free cup of juice.  I think he was amused at my over the top reaction to how good it tasted.  It did taste awesome though.
