As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I'm Back and Back to Training... Wednesday, July 8

I took the 1am flight out of Mexico and arrived at 6:30am, 5:30am Mexico's time.  It was a four hour flight with us having to circle for thirty minutes because of airport regulations.  Friends had offered to pick me up but I'm still digesting the loss of my fight so I kind of want to be left alone.  I arrived, took the Up Express train straight from the airport to downtown and then took the subway home.  Walked in and was greeted by an overly happy Balboa and hugs from my roommate, the Jamaican Beauty.

It felt good to be back but there's no rest for the wicked so no sooner did I drop my bags but then I slipped into workout gear and headed out the door.  Dropped by the office of two of my good friends, downed two espressos, cashed in on some much needed hugs, and then headed home for training.

Sprints with Balboa and then weight training in the evening at System.
