As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Looking Forward to Get Over the Past... Thursday, October 27

"I can't believe it's Thursday", I continually told myself over and over... and over.

The week had zoomed by me like a rocket ship blazing towards the moon. I hadn't even so much as had digested my breakfast when I then had to chew on the fact that the week was almost over. The work is never over though. The work is always there. It multiples, divides, and no sooner do you subtract one thing off your list-to-do but another zillion get added.

The work never stops.

The hustle is real.

Talking about real, real soon I'll be homeless.

The lease to my apartment is up come January so January may or may not be my last month in my cozy, penthouse apartment. I have a new roommate but it's questionable if they're going to take over the lease or not. Originally I was going to but then I was thrown some ideas and opportunities down south, a little out east, and then out super east -- Mexico, Winnipeg, and South Korea.

To tell you the truth, I'll leaning towards South Korea with a kind of "hitting-two-birds-with-one-stone" opportunity. My idea is to schedule a fight there, attend a training camp, do some much needed business with Snickers and Hulk's, and then come back to Canada. Come back ready to really plant my two feet in the soil here and invest myself with undivided attention.
