As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

One Family-Packed Super Sunday

See that pretty lady in the middle of the crowd of people, today she turned 101!!!
We all traveled to her house today for her birthday party and what a party, wow.
It was catered so in addition to the whack of people present there was also a ton of food.
Hey little piggy.  At first glance, I honestly checked to see if this little porky was missing his ear.
I didn't indulge in the food but I did jump all over the coffee!
The Doctor in the family, well one of two doctors, asked me if I wanted coffee and I was sold but when he pulled out a tin of Tim Horton's coffee, then I was all smiles.  A man that lives in the Philippines but likes Tim Horton's coffee?!  No wonder he's a doctor; he's a smart man.
In between the party and shopping, we stopped by an old church that was made in 1602.
This picture really doesn't do any real justice to just how massive and how gorgeous it was.
And speaking of church, at the shopping mall there was a church built right in the mall.
I didn't have the heart to tell them that I actually don't like shopping.
I only like shopping when it's for groceries or for training gear.
I do love eating though so when I was asked if I wanted to eat, well, you didn't have to ask me twice.
