As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

One Rough Day... Thursday, May 4

I had a dream that I was dying and in my dream every time I closed my eyes I could see a bright light -- "the" bright light.  Upon waking up from that dream, I tried hard not to fall asleep again.  It was one of those dreams that felt too real to just be a dream.

There I was, laying in bed, suffering from chills, my bones aching, and having to wake up pretty much every few minutes to go to the bathroom.  Everything I had eaten for the past few days was no longer in my body but instead was traveling down the toilet pipe, going only God knows where.

I spent the entire day in bed, sick.

I lived solely on Pocari Sweat today.  I couldn't stomach anything.
