As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Merging of Minds... Monday, March 5

It was a three-cup kind of day, three cups of coffee that is.

Boxing, business, and then a business event.

In the evening I attended a business event where the host-with-the-most was none other than this super inspiring young entrepreneur who has something like 25 corporations.  Wow... ya.  And here I am only working on my first corporation, my third business.

Met a new person I may or may not be bringing on my team, collaborating with.  A gorgeous gal who is a fashion designer.  I have an "extension" of Empowered that I'm working on and with her skills and my vision, ...damn.... we could be quite the dynamic duo.  I actually had spent most of my morning working on my so-called "extension".  I went around to about a dozen stores, checked out numerous things and talked to various retail workers.  Running into this fabulous female tonight, a woman who has exactly the skills that I may need to really take this to the professional level, well, it was just so coincidental, almost too coincidental actually.
