As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Possibly Big News... Wednesday, May 30

I have good news and bad news. The good news is I may have a fight at 105lbs, the bad news is I don't actually know what I weigh right now and time really isn't on my side so I'm about to get really small, really fast.

I posted this as my Facebook status update today after my promotor met with me to discuss things.

On Monday I'll be heading to GAB in Makati to meet with the board to discuss the fight.  If I have a fight, I'll be submitting in my papers then and there so that they can start the process of registering me as a fighter from the Philippines.  I don't know what I'm more excited about, the possibility of a fight or being listed as a Pinoy fighter.  I think the latter of the two; it'd be an honour.
