As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

It's About to Get Intense... Monday, July 30

It's official.  As of noon today, I am officially registered for the half marathon on August 19th.  But with less than a month to actually train, this isn't going to be easy.  I simply can't just add running to my training.  I'm working on an overdose of cardio as it is.

I'm juggling training for a rowing competition, a half marathon, and two Spartan races.  All are happening in the next couple of months so I'm trying to prioritize my training accordingly.

Here's what my proposed training schedule looks like for the next month:

MONDAY -- Boxing
TUESDAY -- Rowing & Weight training
WEDNESDAY -- Boxing
THURSDAY -- Rowing & Weight training
FRIDAY  -- Boxing
SATURDAY -- Long run & Weight training
SUNDAY -- Spartan training

3 days a week I box.
3 days a week I weight train.
2 days a week I row.
1 day a week I run.
1 day a week I Spartan train.
0 days a week I have a day off training.
