As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Series of Unexpected Events

Nice, showed up for coaching and all this Slay gear was brought to training.  I like it!
Me all happy and ready for a full day of coaching and training... until I realized soon I'll be illegal here!
Didn't expect to be visiting here today but that's where I spent a good chunk of my afternoon.
Am officially legal again in this beautiful country I call home!!!
The before picture... before I pushed myself on that dang treadmill.
Turns out the treadmill only allows you to run for 60 minutes on it before it does an automatic cool down and you have to trick it by starting it up again.  But, on the positive side, it turns out you can also make a user ID on it and record your runs.  Found this out after my long run though... damn.
Am pretty sure that treadmill kicked my butt tonight but with two weeks till my half marathon run, it's either the training or the race that's going to kick it.  Rather be kicked at training.
