My condo admin doesn't allow us to have visitors use our building's gym... heaven forbid we rent-paying condo residents be actually allowed to use the facilities we pay for. So training personal training clients in my condo gym, definitely a no-go.
But today I realized something. It was one of those "why didn't I think of this earlier?!" moments.
They don't allow my visitors to use the condo gym but they DO allow them to use the condo pool. And what's beside the pool?! A massive chunk of free space, space I could use for training. I actually train one of my clients at her condo, outside beside her condo's pool, so that's a perfect idea. It means I'm now connected to another space, another choice of space for my clients to use.
Sweet!!!
Today I announced online that I'm accepting new personal training clients. I posted a simple ad on various groups in Facebook. I didn't post it as me selling something though, and by that I mean I didn't list the price or additional details. This was what I posted (along with my picture):
Ladies, are you ready to commit to be fit?!
I'm Coach Amy, an active professional mini flyweight boxer who has trained and fought around the world, has her own boxing club in Korea and is running Empowered Clubhouse. I've agreed to take on a few more one-to-one PT boxing clients. You can either have me come to you or you can come to me.In Poblacion, Lokal Hostel. In BGC, South of Market Residences. If you've been looking for a sign or the "right time" to get fit than this is it. Commit to be fit and let me be in your corner, showing you how and getting you results.

No sooner did I post the ad but then people started liking it, my business website got flooded with over a hundred new viewers and potential clients started messaging me. If I agree to take on those who reached out to me, I will stop taking new clients until I launch my own private boxing studio because I have clients back-to-back and in three different cities.
