As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Starting Now... Friday, August 31

I got inked today, see the above pictures, so this starts the two weeks of no boxing for me.

Considering the nastiness of boxing handwraps with how sweaty they get and how they pick up everything and anything in the already dirty and questionable "do-they-even-clean-here" boxing club, and the fact that they rub on my skin and I can't have that because of my fresh tattoo, I won't be boxing for the next two weeks.

This may very well kill me,... seriously.

Okay, not seriously but it will drive me bonkers.

The idea is to use this as a kind of "physical experiment" on my body, a way to see if I purely do just weight training for two weeks, will it produce different results in comparison to my boxing.

...and let the test begin.
