As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Setting Up the New Week... Sunday, September 23

It's going to be a big week, a really big week, so lots of potentially excellent news or nose-dive disappointing news.

This week I'm anticipating the following:
Signing the proposed Intent to Lease and submitting it for approval.
Securing the investment needed to launch my Empowered private boxing studio.
Collecting the funds needed to purchase the Lil' Slay boxing gloves for the 26 girls.
Renewing my visa.

"I'm blessed to be stressed", I continually tell myself.  A daily reminder I need to give myself a reality check because the reality of it is this IS happening, my business IS moving forward and my second dream IS becoming a reality.

I continually have to remind myself that the universe has it's own timing and everything works for a reason.  I remember this time last year I had a business partner and was looking to launch a massive gym that had all the fixings and staff of a place I didn't feel 100% secure about.  Now look at me.  My second dream has continually been remoulded, revised and now it's just me running the show but it fits me perfectly.

A private boxing studio that offers 100% privacy and exclusivity to those committed to be fit.
