As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Wishing and Working... and Wishing Some More

All of my tattoos have to do with high hopes, goals, and much anticipation for my dreams to become my reality so it should be no surprise that I got such a tattoo -- a dandelion.  After all, what does every kid do when they see a dandelion?  They pick it up and make a wish.
I'm not a kid anymore but I still pick up dandelions and make wishes.
Got in a solid back and bicep workout today.  I didn't have church until 4pm so I spent a
good chunk of my morning with the weights.
Long after the day was done and I returned home to Balboa, I was greeted by this.
A most beautiful sunset.  I think the sunsets are the prettiest in the Philippines but I also think that coincides with the fact that I'm the happiest here.  Everything seems better to me.
