As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Part of the Team... Sunday, October 28

I've started playing rugby only for a few weeks now which means I've only been learning it for a few weeks too.  Maybe it's only a couple of weeks actually, come to think of it.

Yes, I've been to 3 practices.

I'm really enjoying it.  And even though I'm not quite a deer caught in the headlights when someone hustles me, I'm more of a freak-out-and-throw-the-ball kind of girl, it's been a lot of fun to learn the sport.  It's a lot harder to put power behind the ball when you're running with it as oppose to just standing there.

It's off season now for full contact rugby, tackle rugby.  That season doesn't start till February.  But today they announced that they'll be entering the touch rugby league and I got asked if I wanted to join.  Sure, I'd love to join.

First game is November 10th... cool.
