As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Starting the Week Off on a Very Sweaty Note

With my fight being a week away, everything gets weighed in now, including my preworkout drink and event the lump of wet, gym nasty clothes I wore during training.
Training with Coach Marcelo.  Some days I honestly think he's trying to kill me,... like today.
Running in the evening.
I checked out a new path I was told about.  I didn't know if there were lights there, well, that and I also was running out of laundry so I got stuck wearing training gear I don't usually wear... so voila.  I looked like a human pylon.
The Greenway, a 1.6km running route that is basically just a straight away.
...with the most ghetto end.  Is this even the end though?! I don't know.  I didn't care to go any further beyond that broken fence so I was stuck doing laps on this straight, blah path.
