As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Am looking to change it though because as my demand and popularity is increasing, so is my clientele and status.  I feel like my Instagram says 'too much' and instead I should go with something simple and more impactful.

Amy -- Licensed fighter, Empowered boss babe, and badass boxing coach to the fierce females of Metro Manila.

I took on what I'm hoping is my last and fine client for awhile, a fellow boss babe who has quite the social status and is as absolutely gorgeous as she is fierce.  I'm pretty confident with coaching her, regardless of her status, because I know her husband, who is also very well known.  They are quite the power couple and I love that.  They've redefined what it means to be older and they're still doing what they love and time nor age has proven to slow them down in any sense of the word.

My schedule is so busy and I took her on as an exception to my 'no more clients' statement that I recently made because one of my clients has cut down her training hours with me by 1 hour so now that hour goes to my newest client.

I now have 9 clients.  They're all these gorgeous boss babes who have such amazing and inspiring points about them.  Whether it's the boss babe who runs several companies, the yummy-mommy who is now the holy-hell-you're-a-new-mommy, or the fierce female who spent her weekend raising money for a good cause, I coach a fabulous crew of women that I really admire and respect.  Sometimes I tell them about each other.  Only a few of them actually know each other but sometimes I sometimes randomly share stories about them amongst them, like how one of my new clients insists on me giving her homework (at-home workouts) for the days we don't train together and how another one has been killing it with working off her post-baby fat.  I want to try to inspire them with stories about each other; I find it super interesting.  They're all very interesting.  They're a good crew.  I'm blessed.  I'm very blessed.
