As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Working All Weekend... Sunday, February 10

Coaching in the morning.
Rugby practice in the morning.
Interview in the early afternoon.
Working on Empowered from late afternoon on, into the late evening.

Most of my Lady Mavericks took today off training on account of yesterday's game... and oh, what a game it was!!!  We have a chatroom on Facebook and it's been buzzing since yesterday with talks, pictures and even videos of what went down.  Even caught glimpse of a picture of our opposing team, one of their players smiling with a face full of blood during the game... woozers.

No church for me today, too busy working on Empowered.

Somewhat finalized the introduction to the Snail Mail Sista Program that I'm launching with the Lil' Sistas out in Antipolo and with those at MJKO Boxing Club in Toronto, Canada.  Am pretty excited about that.  I have 10 here in the Philippines participating so, for the initial trail run of it, we'll have 20 little ladies to work with.  Very cool.
