As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Lil' Pow Boxing... Monday, April 8

Am pretty sure if there were a day this week that'd kill me it'd be today.

Lil' Sistas in the morning, boxing in the afternoon, and no time to grab lunch in between.

I didn't have any fighters to train today, thank goodness for that, because it is a holiday tomorrow and I was initially suppose to go to Baguio for a Vlog filming with a local company.  My fighters went away for an extra long weekend, the Baguio shot got canceled, and I randomly scored some time with my Lil' Sistas of Taguig.  They always have a packed schedule.  Sister Wennie at Holy Family Home keeps them busy and with them being located here in BGC it's much easier for volunteers to get to.  The Center of Hope located way out of town, yeah, definitely harder to get to and consequently harder to get volunteers to commit to it.

Anyways, I had the Lil' Sistas of Taguig to coach today and they're so super cute.  They're definitely a lot of energy and they all want to bud in line and ask for help.  I appreciate their eagerness though.  They're interested and that's awesome.

I found out some fabulous news today, a continuation of the news that I am not yet able to share with you.  I was setting stuff up for the Lil' Pow Boxing class with the Lil' Sistas when I found out so I shared it with them.  I know they didn't really understand my news let alone my English but they understood enough to know I was super excited and so they told me congrats.

Friday, that's when I'll be legally allowed to share my news and, trust me, I'm going to scream it!!!
