I went to bed last night around 2am and was up by 6am, coaching by 7am.
I had a full day ahead of me and woke up feeling kind of like a truck hit me then went in reverse, just to make sure it had in fact hit me.
Massage time!!!
Today the Mavericks had a special fundraising event so I attended that and then had a meeting. A meeting and massage.
I had the most painful massage e-v-e-r. Seriously. And it was by probably the smallest masseuse that's ever massaged me. As soon as her hands touched my shoulders, I knew this was going to hurt. I found myself repetitively counting to 10, convincing myself that if I just "survived the pain" till ten that then I could hold on for one or two more seconds before tapping out. I never did tap out but I recall shedding two tears at one point. Last week I had an intense sparring session and then had yesterday's rugby game, so it was a rougher than rough week and today I could feel it all. Hence the need for the massage. I haven't had a massage in about two months now, maybe more actually, but there was no more avoiding it or writing it off as not needing it. I definitely needed it.

I didn't get a chance to go to church today, something I haven't been able to do for a couple of weeks now. My schedule is just so busy and with me heading out to rugby in the morning and then having to go back to Acacia Estates to shower, change and eat, by the time I'm done with all that it's time to leave for church. It means my four legged babies spend most of their Sunday in the backroom and I hate that. These days Balboa has been having serious issues with Cassius so their stay in the backroom has been changed to them staying in their cages. I hate that more than anything -- them being so restricted and not free to simply roam and play. Plan is to get the dog trainer in this week.
