As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Maxed Out and Cut Off... Tuesday, June 4

It was a long day but I'm not complaining.

I had to wake up at 5am for a 6am client but I'm not complaining.

NEW TUESDAY SCHEDULE:
6am          Client #1
8am          Client #2
9:30am     Client #3
11:30am   Client #4
4pm          Client #5

Five different clients to coach today but I'm not complaining.

Three long time clients and two new clients, as of today, but I'm not complaining.

By the time 5pm had come around I had already been up for 12 hours and, you guessed it, I am not complaining.  Some of my clients, my fighters, had last minute cancelations, two of them actually.  I'm not complaining about that either because, honestly, it was a bit of a refreshing break.  With yesterday being the official Day One of the soft launch, I'm on high alert for keeping the house cleaned, answering business emails as quickly as I can, and making sure all my new fighters are ready for training.

Cleaning my house, like vacuuming and mopping the floors, it happens every day, 2-3 times a day.

I have three dogs and people coming in and out of my house with shoes, training with shoes on too, so the floor gets an overdose of attention.  I don't want to look like I live with three dogs, they live with me, and I don't want the floors to look like an army of women came stomping through them.
