I was suppose to coach 4 fighters today and just like that.... 4....3....2.... down to only 1.
And just like that my anxiety goes through the roof.
I like to keep my days busy. Busy, to me, makes me feel like I'm moving forward, progressing, growing, and being productive. I like my Thursdays because it's one of my busiest days.
Today my day was spent not coaching but instead being a boss babe and monitoring my renovations crew. Mirrors were suppose to show up at 1:30pm with the reno crew but they didn't. The renos crew basically did all they could and then they napped in their work vehicle for a solid 3 hours while they waiting for the mirrors to show up.
The mirrors never showed up.
Now my renos crew has to figure out where they are and then figure out how to personally get them to my clubhouse tomorrow morning. I was ticked, needless to say. Word has it they'll be here tomorrow but let's see about that.
Renovations and upgrades still to be made:
- closet doors to be reattached to closets
- select cabinet doors to be fixed
- office wall to get another coat of paint
- second floor outdoor patio set to be created
- plants to be brought in
- lounge TV and TV stand to be purchased
- kitchen bar stools to be purchased
- desk, chair and futon to be purchased for the third floor office
- fourth floor man cave to be created
- fourth floor balcony to be designed/created
- ceiling fans purchased and installed
- kitchen stove top lights to be fixed
- outdoor light bulbs to be replaced
- assistant corridors to be designed and created
...and this is why for the next few months, I will be working for free.
Happily working for free. I rather put my money back into my club, to make it better, than to throw it away on something I don't need, like overpriced coffee and clothes I don't need.
