As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Big Things Coming... Monday, July 1

One of my fighters returned to training today after a 2 month out-of-country work trip.
The fighters out at MJKO Boxing in Toronto, received our next batch of Snail Mail letters from the Lil' Sistas here in the Philippines.
My next shipment of boxing gear has arrived from Pakistan but is waiting to be cleared at customs.

...and I don't feel like a truck hit me anymore, nice.

It's a new week with new goals and already it's a super productive one.

Other big things I'm working on for this week include the following:

  • Launching a product giveaway for Empowered.
  • Setting up the next two Lil' Sistas boxing classes.
  • Interviewing another potential Lil' Sista volunteer. 
  • Securing a donation for the Lil' Sistas from a local company.
  • Organizing a HIIT workout for the Klean Athlete media launch.
  • Receiving the next shipment of Slay (boxing gear line).
  • Collaborating with a local company.
  • Next order of Empowered Hoodies and Girl Power Caps to be ordered (and maybe delivered).
  • Arranging dog training for Balboa (and maybe Cassius... and Rousey, too).
