As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Help a Lil' Sistas... Thursday, July 18

Boxing, it's not just a sport and for 76 little girls it's also a form of therapy, a means of releasing energy, a way to direct their stress in a positive manner, and something that is challenging and fun. It is many things for them.

I've been coaching 76 Lil' Sistas for the last year and has managed to raise funds to get them boxing gloves, handwraps and other training needs but now we want to take it to the next step. We want to make their own mini boxing studio within their living corridors because they're not able to come to Empowered. To do so, we want to purchase at least 1 standing heavy bag for the two locations, so 2. They range in price from, 12,000Php to 18,000Php each, so we're looking to sell Girl Power caps and Lil' Sista Hoodies to help with the costs.

Please message me if you want to buy one or go to the Empowered website. All proceeds go towards this mission, the Lil' Sistas. Please help a Lil' Sista out. Thank you.
