Those who think all I do is simply coach and workout clearly have no idea what goes on beyond running your own business. It drives me bonkers when people imply I must have so much time on my hands and it must be great to be my own boss.
Sure, it's great hustling on my own and leaning on myself to build my company, sarcastically speaking that is. I've got no one to blame when things don't work out and it's hard to bounce ideas around when it's just you, yourself and.... well... you.
I can't really say I'm a one woman team though, I do have people in the background, helping build my business via me hiring them to do things, like my manufacturer in Pakistan who physically makes my boxing gear, Skittles who helps me execute my design ideas on photoshop, and my printers who do print the designs I give them for my shirts.
There's a lot I'm juggling though and I'm really needing an assistant if even only to do my social media stuff, like Instagram, Facebook and answering random emails from my company website.
Empowered Clubhouse... what I'm juggling with running my company:
- Coaching my fighters -- 11 one-to-one and 6 small team members
- Maintaining and building Empowered Clubhouse, the company's physical location
- Growing the Lil' Sistas Project
- Expanding my Slay boxing gear line with bringing on a new manufacturer in China
- Working on my designs and hiring for my clothing line, Hustle x Heart
- Building the Empowered Clubhouse website
