As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Go, Go, Go... Thursday, September 19

I went from coaching 7 fighters today to only coaching 3, on account of rain cancelations, and then I had rugby in the rain.  It was a refreshing break in my usual run-around-crazy schedule, where I'm juggling several clients, my behind-the-scene work for Empowered, and my training.  That's not to say today wasn't still busy though, gosh no.  I had a small team to train and then I raced off to rugby, only to get back around 10:40pm.

My day tomorrow starts at 6am.  I went to bed tonight at 12 midnight.

Getting the doctor recommended 8 hours sleep is next to impossible for me at this point.

What entrepreneur with a small start up company ever gets 8 hours of sleep?!  Exactly.  Not me.
